For this project, I took one of my favorite books and reimagined it from cover to cover. This was a full book design which included everything from choosing the typography and substrates, illustrating the chapter openings, hand-stitching and binding and giving it a special touch by wrapping it with corduroy. This project took countless hours of planning, stitching, glueing and everything in-between and I could not be happier with the result.

I had the amazing opportunity to take photographs for the Cal Poly Office of Donor Relations. The project was a 90-page hard cover report that included images of students from the College of Science and Math who were working on individualized projects. During this experience I was introduced to so many students and professors who had such a fiery passion for their research and development which was extremely inspiring.

For this project I made a logo and stickers for the 2018 Graphic Communication Graduation. I hand-lettered a logo that incorporated different elements of the event and special touches that related back to Graphic Communication and the people associated with it. The logo was used throughout the event to help create cohesion. Each graduate was gifted with personalized stickers and a goodie bag to take with them into post-grad life.
Below are examples of contracted design work for the Cal Poly Office of University Diversity and Inclusion. The work consisted of making flyers, WordPress updates and email ads for OUDI related events and announcements. This position challenged me to create fresh designs and concepts while following strict branding guidelines.

Vandra is an eight page magazine that I designed from cover to cover. The concept for this magazine is to showcase California’s Central Coast and all that it has to offer. For this project, I included much of my own photography and writing. I also designed the layout and used type that would complement the content and it’s carefree, coastal vibe.

Hand-lettered signage is such an incredible way to add a personal touch to your special day. I offer different styles to fit the atmosphere of the venue to make sure everything will tie together perfectly and create unity throughout the event.

There is nothing better than capturing a smile or a glance that embodies such an important moment in someone’s life. Graduation pictures, senior portraits, engagement photos, family get togethers – these are the most wonderful moments that will be remembered forever and I find so much joy in being a part of it.
